Stitch & Motif Maker 3.0

Stitch & Motif Maker is a tool for creating different design stitches and color patterns for knitting. You can create your own motif designs or make use of available textured stitches. The program lets you draw in different colors or if you are comfortable with the common knitter's symbols you can also use them.

No matter if you are using the knitter's symbols or not, each symbol is clearly defined on the screen so that you can never make mistakes by confusing symbols like ssk or k2tog symbol. For every single stitch the program also gives you multiple symbol options to choose from. Stitch & Motif Maker supports a dual color pallet. It also has Gamma Box functions to mix different colors. You can save your custom color and it will be ready for use again when you open the file. You can change the color of the background grid lines, or of the whole grid. The program allows you to either insert or remove a stitch or a row anywhere on the grid. You can import any scanned images or graphics in BMP, WMF or JPG formats. You can export your creation in BMP and JPG formats, and also to the Paint application directly.
